Northeastern silversmiths' records, 1778-1901 (bulk 1814-1890).

Consists of loose advertisements, trade cards, bills, drafts, and receipts that document the overlapping silver, jewelry, and watchmaking trades in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island. There are also six bound volumes containing financial records of a number of New York City craftsmen who were silversmiths-jewelers-watchmakers.
